† NOVEMBER NEWSLETTERS The November Newsletters are on the information table in the Narthex.  Please pick up a copy.

† HOBO DINNER  Thanks to the Fellowship Committee and everyone who helped put the wonderful Hobo Dinner together last Sunday.  What a fun evening of fellowship.

† SUNDAY SCHOOL PROGRAM  This year’s Christmas program will be held the evening of Sunday, December 14.  We will start practicing songs during Sunday School soon.  Parts will need to be assigned, so we would love to know which children would like to be involved.  If you would like your children to participate please let us know as soon as possible.  You can do this by letting your child’s Sunday School teacher know,  by contacting Kayla H., or you can contact the church office by phone at 358-1325 or email at goodshepherd@ecarthage.com.

† CROSSLINES OF CARTHAGE is asking for some extra donations.  There is a flyer on the round table the in the narthex.  Please consider giving!

† YOUTH EVENT  Come and join Pastor Mehl for bowling and indoor putt-putt on Saturday, November 22, at Grace Lanes just off the square in Carthage.  The event will go from 9:30 am until around noon.

† HOBO DINNER  The Fellowship Committee will be hosting a Hobo Dinner on tonight at 5:00 pm.  Bring your own pot to eat from (anything but a bowl) and join us for a hobo soup dinner.  Please bring some soup to contribute.  We encourage you to come dressed in your “best” Hobo attire.

† 2026 OFFICERS  At last Sunday’s regular quarterly Voters’ Meeting the officers for the 2026 church year were elected.  These are the elected officers for 2026:

 LWML Fall Gathering (Rally) on November 1, in Freistatt, from 9:30 am-3:00 pm. Let Jennifer S. know if you’d like to attend and/or carpool.  New socks, underwear and monetary donations are being collected for the ingathering.  A basket is labeled in the narthex for donations. Thank you!

† SUNDAY SCHOOL SINGS  The Sunday School kids are singing today during the service.  They are excited to share Jesus’ love with the congregation.

† QUARTERLY VOTERS’ MEETING  The regular quarterly Voters’ Meeting will  be held today right after the service.  Two items on the agenda during this meeting will be the election of officers and the approval of the budget for the 2026 church year.  The proposed slate of officers for 2026:

† INVITATION  Please join us for a joint-circuit service for Christ the King at  6:30 pm on Nov.23rd at Redeemer, Springfield.  For anyone who is interested in singing in the choir, there is a rehearsal at St. John’s, Monett, on Saturday, October 25th, from 9am-noon.
