† IN OUR PRAYERS  Dr. Raymond G., recovering from knee surgery at Mercy in Carthage, Leah E., the Chapman’s granddaughter, undergoing another cancer surgery on November 3-4; Jim B., undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer; Stephen Ministry and their care receivers.

† 2026 OFFICERS  At last Sunday’s regular quarterly Voters’ Meeting the officers for the 2026 church year were elected.  These are the elected officers for 2026:

Thanks to those men and women who are currently serving as officers and may God continue to bless our congregation through those who will serve in 2026.

† HOBO DINNER  The Fellowship Committee will be hosting a Hobo Dinner on November 2, starting at 5:00 pm.  Bring your own pot to eat from (anything but a bowl) and join us for a hobo soup dinner.  Please bring some soup to contribute.  We encourage you to come dressed in your “best” Hobo attire.

 LWML Fall Gathering (Rally) on November 1, in Freistatt, from 9:30 am-3:00 pm. Let Jennifer S. know if you’d like to attend and/or carpool.  New socks, underwear and monetary donations are being collected for the ingathering.  A basket is labeled in the narthex for donations. Thank you!

† SUNDAY SCHOOL SINGS  The Sunday School kids are singing today during the service.  They are excited to share Jesus’ love with the congregation.

† QUARTERLY VOTERS’ MEETING  The regular quarterly Voters’ Meeting will  be held today right after the service.  Two items on the agenda during this meeting will be the election of officers and the approval of the budget for the 2026 church year.  The proposed slate of officers for 2026:

President – Chad K.                Vice-President – Fred E.

Secretary – Karen M.                      Financial Secretary – Cheri E.

Elder – Bradley M.                          Board of Christian Ed. Chair – Kayla H.

† INVITATION  Please join us for a joint-circuit service for Christ the King at  6:30 pm on Nov.23rd at Redeemer, Springfield.  For anyone who is interested in singing in the choir, there is a rehearsal at St. John’s, Monett, on Saturday, October 25th, from 9am-noon.

† FLU SHOTS  For those of you who signed up, Lacy E. is giving Flu shots after the service today.

† LWML SUNDAY  Today Good Shepherd will be observing LWML Sunday. 

The ladies of the LWML will be taking an active part in our service today.

† CIRCUIT FORUM MEETING   A big thank you to all those who helped with the food provided between the service and the meeting last Sunday.  The food was wonderful and it was greatly appreciated.

† TREASURER NOTE  For the nine months ended this September, our paid expenses totaled $183,098 while our income totaled $179,362, leaving us with a deficit of $3,736.  Our budget (both expenses and income) at the end of September was $182,807.

† PORTALS OF PRAYER  The winter quarter Portals of Prayer are on the information table in the Narthex.

† TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH IN FREISTATT is offering an authentic German meal as a community event on Saturday, October 18.  For more information, please see the flyer on the round table in the Narthex.
