BAPTISM TODAY We rejoice with Nathan & Elizabeth D. whose son, Connor Michael, will be baptized in the early service today. Connor was born Feb. 22, 2013. His sponsors are paternal grandmother, Gaye Lynn D., and his uncle, Michael D. May the Lord bless and keep this family in His tender care.

MIDWEEK CLASSES WILL RESUME THIS WEEK! Classes will resume on Wednesday, March 27. Band, 5:30 pm; Midweek class, Bible study, Jr. Confirmation and Men’s Ensemble Practice all at 6:30 pm.

EASTER BREAKFAST SIGN UP There are still some openings and time to sign up to bring something next Sunday for our annual Easter Sunday Breakfast! Check out the list in narthex.

LOVE OFFERING At the Easter Breakfast the LWML will not be asking for a free will offering, but we will be taking up a love offering which will go to Redeemer Lutheran Church, Kansas City. Rev. Brad Zerkel, a past member of Good Shepherd, is their Pastor. The church was heavily damaged by a fire several months ago.

EASTER EGG HUNT Kids don’t forget to bring your Easter baskets next Sunday for the Easter Egg Hunt.

A BIG THANK YOU goes out to all the committee members, all the men who helped serve and clean up, and to all those who prepared food for Ladies’ Night Out. It was a great success and lots of fun!  ~ Jo C. and Betty E.

THANKS to all the volunteers who helped deliver meals the 11th-15th. A job well done and all the ones receiving meals really appreciate it! We will deliver again June 17-21. Anyone willing to help, please call Betty.

SURVEY If you have not yet taken the survey about our summer worship schedule, you can still do so. The sheets are on the round table in the narthex. Please put your completed survey sheet in the blue box on the table.

ASSISTIVE LISTENING If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers. They work like a transistor radio and you can control the volume.

FLOWER CHART There are lots of empty dates on the calendar. If you would like to place flowers at the altar for a special occasion or in memory of someone, please sign the flower chart hanging on the wall next to the water fountain in the hallway. Simply write your name, phone number, and occasion with the pen provided.

BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS are available in the nurse’s office after each service. You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which will include medical information and a log of your blood pressure readings.

PRAYER BEARS are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out (notebook in narthex) and given to anyone that needs God’s love, comfort, and peace. We have had reports and words of thanks from folks being blessed by this outreach ministry.

CHOIR PRACTICE will be held after the late service each Sunday this month until Easter.

ELDERS’ MEETING  The Elders will meet this Monday evening at 7:00 pm. 

LADIES’ NIGHT OUT WITH AN IRISH FLAIR  It’s all happening this evening at 5:00 pm.  Entertainment will be Bill Lasley playing piano and telling stories.  Lots of great food, plus some door prizes!

BABY BOY We congratulate Kahli & Tim M., who were blessed with a baby boy on Monday, March 3. Cody David weighed 6 lbs., 8 oz. His maternal grandparents are Steve & Diana B. May the Lord keep this family in his loving care.

THE LWML will meet this Tuesday evening at 6:30.  Hostess for the evening is Lois M., devotion will be led by Nan B., and Lora W. will have the topic.  All ladies of the congregation are invited.
