CONGRATULATIONS Our congratulations to the family of Sal & Brandi R. at the birth of their son, Braxton, born June 24. Braxton weighed 8 pounds and 7 ounces and was 21 inches long. God bless this family with His love forever.
YOUTH RETURN Our youth members who attended the National Youth Gathering this past week will give a report of their experience after the service this morning. We are thankful they had this experience and are glad they are back safely.

VBS KICKOFF Next Sunday, July 14, is the kickoff for VBS at the Carthage City Park and Pool. We will start at 4:00 pm. Kiddieland will be open and we will be enjoy eating some ice cream, playing some games, and of course swimming. Bring along your lawn chairs and come enjoy some fun at the park.
PICTORIAL DIRECTORY We will beginning soon to take pictures for a new congregational pictorial directory. Watch for the date and time sign ups to schedule your photo shoot.
SURVEY The Board of Elders is taking a survey about the interest in continuing to have one worship service on Sunday morning after September when we are scheduled to return to two services. The results of the survey will be shared with the Church Council meeting on the 14th.
MONDAY EVENING WORSHIP If you are unable to attend church on Sunday morning, there is another worship opportunity at 6:30 pm on Monday evenings. This is also a service with Holy Communion.

PORTALS OF PRAYER The July-September issue of the Portals of Prayer are available. You will find them on the table in the narthex next to the Nursery door.
ASSISTIVE LISTENING If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers. They work like a transistor radio and you can control the volume.
