† EVOLUTION IS UNREASONABLE  Beginning next Sunday, the Adult Bible Class plans to look at the topic of Creation/Evolution with an eye toward dispelling the commonly assumed belief that evolution is a logical point of view when it comes to the origins of the universe.

† SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL  Make sure to Join us today for Summer Sunday School.  It will be a summer of games, challenges, prizes, and crafting as we study the fruits of the Spirit during the Sunday School hour.

† POTLUCK  On June 30, a fifth Sunday, Good Shepherd will be having a Potluck after Sunday School and Adult Bible Class.  Please join us for some fun fellowship time.  There will be a cook out with hamburgers and hotdogs provided.  Bring a side to share.

† VBS is scheduled for Sunday, July 21 – Thursday, July 25, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.  Student registration is NOW OPEN, and we can’t wait to know who will be    joining us for the fun this summer!  Student registration pages are available in the Christian Education area outside the  sanctuary if you prefer to complete a printed form.  Or you may also register at: vbsmate.com/gslcarthage.  It’s also not too late to volunteer!  If you are  interested in helping complete the form available in the narthex.  If you have any questions you can contact Kayla H., khyland23@gmail.com.

† TREASURER NOTE  For the first 5 months of 2024, our paid expenses totaled $97,905 while our income totaled $92,335 leaving us with a deficit of $5,570.

† MEALS ON WHEELS  Thank you to all those who helped with the Over 60 Center meal delivery this past week.  What a great way to help support our community.
