† LUTHERAN YOUTH FELLOWSHIP will meet today right after the late service for pizza and then bowling at 2:00 pm.
† LADIES’ NIGHT OUT DINNER Tonight is our annual Ladies’ Night Out Dinner at 5:00 pm. Along with dinner, served by the men, there will be entertainment provided by the Garms Family, a traveling gospel singing group. It will be a wonderful evening of entertainment, food, and fellowship. Thanks so much to Lora Wacker for heading this event up and all those who helped her put it together!
† GRIEF SUPPORT Thursday, Feb. 19, at 5:00 pm, there will be a time together for prayer and support for anyone who is grieving the loss of someone they have loved. It will be led by Pastor and Earl Kirn.
† LENT starts this Wednesday, Feb. 18, and we will again have weekday services each Wednesday at 11:00 am and 7:00 pm throughout Lent. Part of the passion story of Jesus will be read each week. Be sure and utilize these services as part of your Lenten observance.
† SCRIPTURE STUDY Starting this coming Wednesday morning, the Scripture Study Group will be meeting a little earlier, 9:45 am, due to our 11:00 am Lent service. If you are planning on attending the morning Lent service, you could come a little early and join them!
† GSLC SUNDAY SCHOOL STAFF AND TEACHERS have decided to get together monthly to discuss the lessons, plan activities, and have devotions with Pastor. Our next meeting is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 22, right after the late service. Anyone involved in or wanting to be involved with the teaching of our children is welcome to attend.
† BAPTISMAL NAPKINS We are running low on Baptismal Napkins and rather than buy them, as they can be rather expensive, we were wondering if anyone would be willing to make some. If you have cloth to donate, are willing to make some napkins, or just have some questions, please talk with Pastor or Denise at the church office.
† SOUPER BOWL SUNDAY This year a total of 1,371items have been donated to Crosslines of Carthage. Wow, that was more than twice the amount Good Shepherd gave last year! A big THANK YOU to everyone who participated in this worthwhile support of our community and made this our biggest donation yet!
† USHER SCHEDULE The 2015 usher schedules are on the round table in the narthex. If you have agreed to be an usher this year, make sure to look for yours in the box. Thanks for your service to Good Shepherd.
† 2014 CONTRIBUTION STATEMENTS are ready for you to pick up. They are on the round table in the narthex.
