SPECIAL VOTERS\u2019 MEETING<\/strong>\u00a0 A special Voters\u2019 Meeting has been set for after the late service, next Sunday, September 6th, to nominate a person to be considered as the delegate from the Southwest Circuit for the LC-MS Convention in Houston in July of 2010.<\/p>\n

COMMUNITY BLOOD CENTER OF THE OZARKS<\/a><\/strong> is here today.\u00a0 They are set up in the Youth Trailer from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.\u00a0 Give the gift of life.<\/p>\n

\nLWML<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0 The Lutheran Women\u2019s Missionary League will have its monthly meeting this Wednesday evening at 6:30.\u00a0 Mary P. will have the topic, and Melody S. and Brenda K. are the hostesses.\u00a0 We will be finalizing the plans for the Women\u2019s Retreat at Heit\u2019s Point Sept. 19-20, and making plans for the Women to Women Night Out in October.\u00a0 All ladies of the congregation are invited.<\/p>\n

SOFTBALL GAMES<\/strong>\u00a0 There is no Co-Ed game on the schedule for this Monday, but the Men\u2019s team plays Tuesday at 6:30 pm<\/p>\n

MOUNTAIN DULCIMER DEMONSTRATION<\/strong> and beginner class will be held September 16th from 7:00-8:00 pm here at Good Shepherd.\u00a0 Elaine Smith, the 2004 Southern Regional Champion, will be the instructor.\u00a0 For more information, contact Lee Ann B.\u00a0 Lee Ann assures us that no special musical talent is required, and that anyone can learn to play the dulcimer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

TAPES OF THE SERVICE\u00a0<\/strong> Audio tapes of the service are available after the 8:15 a.m. service each Sunday.\u00a0 They are located in the glassed-door cabinet in the narthex.\u00a0 Tapes of the previous Sunday are also available.<\/p>\n

ASSISTIVE LISTENING<\/strong>\u00a0 If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers.\u00a0 They work like a transistor radio and you can control the volume.<\/p>\n
