NEW YEAR\u2019S SERVICE WITH HOLY COMMUNION<\/strong> There will be a special New Year\u2019s Eve service on Monday evening beginning at 7:00. During the service we will also remember those loved ones who are now in God\u2019s grace and comfort.<\/p>\n

WEDNESDAY CLASS SCHEDULE<\/strong> The normal schedule and times will resume this Wednesday.<\/p>\n

THE LWML<\/a><\/strong> will have its first meeting in 2013 on Tuesday, Jan. 8, at 7:00 pm. For the remainder of the year all meetings will be the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm, unless otherwise announced. All ladies of the congregation are encouraged to be a part of this church mission group.<\/p>\n

IMPORTANT BOARD OF ED MEETING<\/strong> On Sunday, January 13, there will be an important education meeting after the late service. Please prayerfully consider helping with this special ministry of our church. More help is always needed. Lunch will be served.<\/p>\n

MARK YOUR CALENDAR<\/strong> Sunday, January 27, is the date set for the Youth Group sponsored 70 & Over Dinner. It\u2019s food and entertainment for the folks and their spouses in our congregation who are 70 years old and older. Be watching for your personal invitation to this special event.<\/p>\n

FLOWER CHART, 2013<\/strong> If you would like to place flowers at the altar for a special occasion or in memory of someone, please sign the flower chart hanging on the wall next to the water fountain in the hallway. Simply write your name, phone number, and occasion with the pen provided.<\/p>\n

BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS<\/strong> are available in the narthex after each service. You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which will include medical information and a log of your blood pressure readings.<\/p>\n

PRAYER BEARS<\/strong> are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out (notebook in narthex) and given to anyone that needs God\u2019s love, comfort, and peace. We have had reports and words of thanks from folks being blessed by this outreach ministry.<\/p>\n

CD\u2019S AND TAPES OF THE SERVICE<\/strong> Audio tapes and CD\u2019s of the service are available after the service each Sunday. They are located in the glassed-door cabinet in the narthex.<\/p>\n

ASSISTIVE LISTENING<\/strong> If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers. They work like a transistor radio and you can control the volume.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
