WE NEED YOUR HELP<\/strong> for the 9:00 am break for Laborers and volunteers.\u00a0 If you can give an hour and a half of your time, Tuesday through Saturday, for a week in September, please notify the church office, 358-1325, or use the sign up sheet in the narthex.\u00a0 You will need to organize the food donations and set up the snacks and drinks for the volunteers and Laborers.\u00a0 Your help is greatly appreciated.<\/p>\n

WE NEED YOUR HELP<\/strong> for Saturday lunches.\u00a0 We have no one signed up to provide a light lunch for the Laborers and volunteers this coming Saturday, August 29th, and on September 5th and 26th.\u00a0 Please see the sign up sheet in the narthex.

\nSPECIAL VOTERS\u2019 MEETING<\/strong>\u00a0 A special Voters\u2019 Meeting has been set for after the late service on September 6th to nominate a person to be considered as the delegate from the Southwest Circuit for the LC-MS Convention in Houston in July of 2010.<\/p>\n

90TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION<\/strong>\u00a0 St. John\u2019s Lutheran Church, Monett, has invited you to join them in the celebration service of their 90th anniversary this afternoon at 4:00 p.m.\u00a0 Dinner will follow.\u00a0 The Rev. \nSUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS NEEDED<\/strong>\u00a0 We are in need of teachers for the fall Sunday School classes that will begin in September.\u00a0 Please visit with Angela or Walter R. if you are interested in helping provide important spiritual guidance to our young folks through teaching a class or being available to substitute.\u00a0<\/p>\n

NEW LOCKS\u00a0<\/strong> With the replacement of some of the outside doors comes new door locks.\u00a0 If you have a church key now you will have to get a new one, because the old ones will no longer work.\u00a0 Please contact Bradley Moll at for a key.

\nCOMMUNITY BLOOD CENTER OF THE OZARKS<\/a><\/strong> will be here next Sunday, August 30th.\u00a0 They will be set up in the Youth Trailer as usual from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.\u00a0 Make plans to give the gift of life.<\/p>\n

SOFTBALL GAMES<\/strong>\u00a0 The Co-Ed team plays this Monday at 8:30 pm and the Men\u2019s team plays Tuesday at 7:30 pm.

TAPES OF THE SERVICE<\/strong>\u00a0 Audio tapes of the service are available after the 8:15 a.m. service each Sunday.\u00a0 They are located in the glassed-door cabinet in the narthex.\u00a0 Tapes of the previous Sunday are also available.<\/p>\n

ASSISTIVE LISTENING<\/strong>\u00a0 If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers.\u00a0 They work like a transistor radio and you can control the volume.<\/p>\n
