We appreciate their participation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BOARD OF EDUCATION<\/strong> The Board is meeting today after the late service and you are invited to join us as we seek to make the education programs for our children the best we can. We are making plans for this year\u2019s VBS and other important activities that are coming up. Please consider attending. Lunch is provided, so come on down.<\/p>\n<p><strong>VOTERS\u2019 MEETING<\/strong> The regular Voters\u2019 meeting for April is this evening at 7:00 p.m. Along with our regular business, a final decision will be made on having one worship service this summer at 9:30 a.m. and Sunday School at 10:45 a.m. Come join us for this important meeting.<br \/>\n<a title=\"Lutheran Women's Missionary League\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lwml.org\" target=\"_blank\">LWML<\/a> will meet this Wednesday evening at 6:30. Nan B. will have the topic and Jan Garoutte and Gerry Schnackenberg will be the hostesses. All ladies of the congregation are invited.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FAMILY CAMPOUT PLANNED<\/strong> Wishin\u2019 to go fishin\u2019? Here\u2019s your chance for some great family time along with some great fishing time. A \u201cfamily campout\u201d is planned for this weekend at Dale &amp; Leann B.s\u2019 property south of Lockwood. (map provided) There is a large stocked pond with room to camp for the night. Let us know if you\u2019re interested by signing your name on the sign up sheet in the narthex.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a title=\"Lutheran Women's Missionary League\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lwml.org\" target=\"_blank\">LWML<\/a> SPRING RALLY<\/strong> The Southwest Zone Spring Rally is next Sunday afternoon at 3:00, hosted by Trinity Lutheran, Sarcoxie. The guest speaker for the rally is Rosie Speck, who will talk about \u201cLiving as a Christian in a Muslim World\u201d. Contact the church office if you would like to attend and\/or need a ride.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS<\/strong> are available in the narthex after each service. You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which will include medical information and a log of your blood pressure readings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRAYER BEARS<\/strong> are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out (notebook in narthex) and given to anyone that needs God\u2019s love, comfort, and peace. We have had reports and words of thanks from folks being blessed by this outreach ministry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CD\u2019S AND TAPES OF THE SERVICE<\/strong> Audio tapes and CD\u2019s of the service are available after the 8:15 am service each Sunday. They are located in the glassed-door cabinet in the narthex.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ASSISTIVE LISTENING<\/strong> If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers.
