THANK YOU<\/strong> to all who furnished and\/or bought goodies last Sunday at the LWML<\/a> bake sale. It was a huge success!<\/p>\n

EASTER EGG HUNT<\/strong> Once again the Board of Education (with a lot of help from our Youth Group) is sponsoring the annual Easter Egg Hunt. The excitement begins right after breakfast today.<\/p>\n

BOARD OF TRUSTEES<\/strong> There will be a church trustee meeting Wednesday, April 11, 7:30 pm. Trustees, please mark your calendar.<\/p>\n

OVER-50 GOOD SHEPHERDS<\/strong> meet this Thursday at 6:00 p.m. Bring something good to eat and join in the fun.<\/p>\n

PASTOR\u2019S INFORMATION CLASS<\/strong> will be next Sunday in the Fellowship Hall, 1:00-6:00 p.m. Let Pastor know if you are planning to attend.<\/p>\n

COUNCIL MEETING<\/strong> Next Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m., all members of the Church Council are asked to attend the meeting.<\/p>\n

FAMILY CAMPOUT PLANNED<\/strong> Wishin\u2019 to go fishin\u2019? Here\u2019s your chance for some great family time along with some great fishing time. A \u201cfamily campout\u201d is planned for May 4-5 at Dale & Leann B.\u2019 property north of Lockwood. There is a large stocked pond with room to camp for the night. Contact Dale with any questions. Let us know if you\u2019re interested by signing your name on the sign up sheet in the narthex.<\/p>\n

MARRIAGE RETREAT<\/strong> Plans are being made for a marriage retreat on May 11-12. If you have an interest in attending, please write your name and phone number on the specified sheet in the narthex. More information is in the April Shepherd\u2019s Staff. You may also visit with Darren or Kara G., who are heading up the retreat. The retreat will be at the Meadows Resort in Branson, MO. There will be no cost to you for the room. Limited space, so sign up now!<\/p>\n

BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS<\/strong> are available in the narthex after each service. You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which will include medical information and a log of your blood pressure readings.<\/p>\n

PRAYER BEARS<\/strong> are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out (notebook in narthex) and given to anyone that needs God\u2019s love, comfort, and peace. We have had reports and words of thanks from folks being blessed by this outreach ministry.<\/p>\n

CD\u2019S AND TAPES OF THE SERVICE<\/strong> Audio tapes and CD\u2019s of the service are available after the 8:15 am service each Sunday. They are located in the glassed-door cabinet in the narthex.<\/p>\n

ASSISTIVE LISTENING<\/strong> If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers. They work like a transistor radio and you can control the volume.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
