SPECIAL SERVICE<\/strong> Next Sunday is our special patriotic service in connection with the nation\u2019s Fourth of July celebration. \u00a0The Sunday School children will participate in the 10:45 service with a special program of their own. \u00a0We have much to be thankful for as a nation and next Sunday we give God the glory.<\/p>\n

SUNDAY SCHOOL PARENTS<\/strong> Reminder: \u00a0Please have your children wear red, white and blue, if possible, next Sunday for their program.<\/p>\n

YOUTH RETREAT<\/strong> We have youth members their sponsors who are attending the MO-District Youth Gathering in Springfield this weekend. \u00a0They will return this afternoon.<\/p>\n

HELPING WITH SLEEPING SPACE<\/strong> We have housed and will continue to provide sleeping space for individuals and groups who come to help with the tornado relief. \u00a0We have acquired bunk beds that have been set up in the Youth Trailer for this purpose. \u00a0So, if you see tired, but smiling happy folks on the property, just say \u201cHi, welcome, and thank you!\u201d<\/p>\n

EVERYONE WELCOME<\/strong> You are cordially invited to attend the \u00a0Highest Praise Concert at Ozark Christian College today at 7:00 pm. \u00a0Kyle Dickey is a part of this group and will be performing.<\/p>\n

THRIVENT MATCHING FUNDS<\/strong> If you would like to donate money for tornado relief to either Immanuel or Peace Lutheran in Joplin, Thrivent will match $1.00 for each $3.00 raised. \u00a0You can give your donation through Good Shepherd, and we will see that it goes where you have designated it.<\/p>\n

A BIG THANK YOU<\/strong> to all those who helped deliver meals for the Over-60 Center this past week. \u00a0Your willingness to help is greatly appreciated.<\/p>\n

SOFTBALL<\/strong> The co-ed team plays at 7:30 on Monday evening. \u00a0The Tuesday night men\u2019s team will play at 8:30.<\/p>\n

ASSISTIVE LISTENING<\/strong> If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers. \u00a0They work like a transistor radio and you can control the volume.<\/p>\n

TAPES OF THE SERVICE<\/strong> Audio tapes of the service are available after the 8:15 am service each Sunday. \u00a0They are located in the glassed-door cabinet in the narthex. \u00a0Tapes of the previous Sunday are also available.<\/p>\n

PRAYER BEARS<\/strong> are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out (notebook in narthex) and given to anyone that needs God\u2019s love, comfort, and peace. \u00a0We have had reports and words of thanks from folks being blessed by this outreach ministry.<\/p>\n

BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS<\/strong> are available in the narthex after each service. \u00a0You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which will include medical information and a log of your blood pressure readings.<\/p>\n
