MEN\u2019S CAMPING RETREAT<\/strong>\u00a0The guys are going camping the weekend of May 15-17. How about joining them on the river? Pack your tent, or bring your RV, and join in the fellowship, worship, and fun. They are trying out a new camping spot this year. It\u2019s on the Elk River at the River Ranch Resort in Noel, MO. There\u2019s lots of activities available: canoeing, fishing, miniature golf, etc. Don\u2019t have a tent or RV? Don\u2019t worry, there\u2019s room. Any questions? Talk with Sonny E.,\u00a0 Sign up sheet is in the narthex. Total cost will probably be around $30.00.<\/p>\n

SOFTBALL THIS WEEK<\/strong>\u00a0The men\u2019s team did not play last week due to rain. They will be playing this Tuesday evening at 8:30, and the co-ed team will be playing Friday evening at 6:30. Both teams play at the Carthage Municipal Park. Come out and cheer on the home teams.<\/p>\n

THE OVER-50 GOOD SHEPHERDS<\/strong> will meet this Thursday evening at 6:00.<\/p>\n

MEMBERS IN ACTION VOLUNTEER LIST<\/strong>\u00a0If you are interested in helping with the new construction, please let us know by adding your name to the list found on the table in the narthex. Please give us your phone number and the day\/days of the week you would be available to work. Ladies, this includes you, too. We will need lots of workers once this initial phase is over. Mike Q., will be in charge of letting folks know when they are needed.<\/p>\n

TAPES OF THE SERVICE<\/strong>\u00a0Audio tapes of the service are available after the 8:15 am service each Sunday. They are located in the glassed-door cabinet in the narthex. Tapes of the previous Sunday are also available.<\/p>\n

ASSISTIVE LISTENING<\/strong>\u00a0If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers.<\/p>\n

NURSERY<\/strong>\u00a0A staffed nursery for small children is available downstairs during the late service. Should your child become distressed or distract others during the early service, the furnished nursery is downstairs for your use. Please ask one of the ushers if you need directions.<\/p>\n

BLOOD PRESSURE<\/strong>\u00a0After each service, at the table in the narthex, you have the opportunity to have your blood pressure taken. You will be given a card to carry with you to record your readings.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
