NO CLASSES THIS WEEK<\/strong>\u00a0 Due to Spring Break, there will be no classes this week.\u00a0 The Wednesday evening schedule for Lent will resume on March 30.<\/p>\n

JR CONFIRMATION RETREAT<\/strong>\u00a0 There are six youth and two adult counselors attending the Jr Confirmation Retreat at Camp Windermere beginning Friday of this week.\u00a0 Please pray for both the youth and their adult counselors as they travel, spend time together, and grow in their relationship with each other and with their Savior.\u00a0 They will return Sunday afternoon, March 27.<\/p>\n

MIDWEEK LENTEN SERVICES<\/strong>\u00a0 We are having midweek Lenten services on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 during the Lenten season.\u00a0 Portions of the Passion story of Jesus will be read during each service.\u00a0 Please join us this Lenten season.<\/p>\n

ATTENTION STUDENTS<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 If you are planning a career in church work, the MO-District Lutheran Women\u2019s Missionary League has study grants available for the 2011-2012 school year.\u00a0 Men & women enrolled in a university or seminary of the LCMS that are preparing for full time professional church work may apply.\u00a0 Applications are available from the LWML.\u00a0<\/p>\n

EASTER BREAKFAST SIGN UP<\/strong>\u00a0 There is a sign up sheet in the narthex for everyone to sign up to bring food or products for the annual breakfast Easter morning.\u00a0 We served over 250 folks last year.\u00a0 What can you bring?\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

PORTALS OF PRAYER<\/strong>\u00a0 The April-June Portals of Prayer are available to you on the table in the narthex.<\/p>\n

LET\u2019S PLAY BALL<\/strong>\u00a0 It will soon be time for spring softball.\u00a0 If you are interested in playing on either the men\u2019s or the co-ed church team (guys you\u2019re welcome to play on both), please write your name and phone number on the sign up sheet in the narthex.\u00a0 Questions?\u00a0 Talk with Bradley M.<\/p>\n

PRAYER BEARS<\/strong> are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out (notebook in narthex) and given to anyone that needs God\u2019s love, comfort, and peace.\u00a0 We have had reports and words of thanks from folks being blessed by this outreach ministry.<\/p>\n

TAPES OF THE SERVICE<\/strong>\u00a0 Audio tapes of the service are available after the 8:15 am service each Sunday.\u00a0 They are located in the glassed-door cabinet in the narthex.\u00a0 Tapes of the previous Sunday are also available.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

ASSISTIVE LISTENING<\/strong>\u00a0 If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers.\u00a0 They work like a transistor radio and you can control the volume.<\/p>\n

BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS<\/strong> are available in the narthex after each service.\u00a0 You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which wi ll include medical information and a log of your blood pressure readings<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
