ANNUAL RUMMAGE SALE<\/strong>\u00a0 Thank you to all who donated and helped the Youth Group with their rummage sale.\u00a0 You are more than welcome to go over to the trailer and shop for free today, although donations will be accepted.\u00a0 The remainder of the items will then be donated to Goodwill.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

LADIES\u2019 NIGHT OUT<\/strong> is tonight beginning with entertainment at 5:00 pm.\u00a0<\/p>\n

THANK YOU<\/strong>\u00a0 We would like to thank our friends at Good Shepherd for the care and concern shown us following Melba\u2019s (Tom\u2019s mom) death.\u00a0 She certainly did not pick the most convenient time to go to her eternal home.\u00a0 The snow caused problems for us planning the funeral, as it did for all of you.\u00a0 We are grateful to those who cleaned the parking lot of the deepest snow that we have had in 40 years.\u00a0 We give our hearty thanks to those who prepared food, those who served the food for the family lunch, those who attended the funeral, those who sent cards, gifts and well wishes, and those who kept us in their prayers.\u00a0 Mom didn’t get to attend the church very often, but she did listen to the sermon on tape every week.\u00a0 She was very proud to call Good Shepherd her church.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 ~ Tom and Linda D.<\/p>\n

THANKS<\/strong> to everyone who donated canned goods on Souper Bowl Sunday.\u00a0 Nan Borg reported that she delivered 180 cans to Crosslines.\u00a0 Thank you Good Shepherd Church members!

LUTHERAN HOUR MINISTRIES<\/strong>\u00a0 If you would like to give a donation to this very worthwhile ministry, envelopes are available on the table in the narthex.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

FLOWER CHART<\/strong>\u00a0 If you would like to place flowers at the altar for a special occasion or in memory of someone, please sign the flower chart found in the narthex.\u00a0 Simply write your name, phone number, and occasion with the pen provided.<\/p>\n

PRAYER BEARS<\/strong> are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out (notebook in narthex) and given to anyone that needs God\u2019s love, comfort, and peace.\u00a0 We have had reports and words of thanks from folks being blessed by this outreach ministry.<\/p>\n

TAPES OF THE SERVICE<\/strong>\u00a0 Audio tapes of the service are available after the 8:15 am service each Sunday.\u00a0 They are located in the glassed-door cabinet in the narthex.\u00a0 Tapes of the previous Sunday are also available.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

ASSISTIVE LISTENING<\/strong>\u00a0 If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers.\u00a0 They work like a transistor radio and you can control the volume.<\/p>\n

BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS<\/strong> are available in the narthex after each service.\u00a0 You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which will include medical information and a log of your blood pressure readings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
