SOUPER BOWL SUNDAY<\/strong>\u00a0 Help supply Crosslines food pantry by bringing canned soup or and any canned food to church with you next Sunday.\u00a0 Place the items in the round container in the narthex or the shopping basket in the entry of the Fellowship Hall.\u00a0 Thank you.\u00a0 Let\u2019s make next Sunday a super, souper Sunday!<\/p>\n

LADIES NIGHT OUT\u00a0<\/strong> It\u2019s back!!!\u00a0 The men serve and clean up…the ladies sit back, relax and enjoy a wonderful meal.\u00a0 Entertainment begins at 5:00 pm.\u00a0 Babysitting, plus a meal will be provided for the kids.\u00a0 Guys, please bring a dessert to help stock the fabulous \u201cdessert buffet\u201d.\u00a0 (Ladies, you might have to help with this.)\u00a0 Please sign up on the sheet in the narthex, so we will know how many to prepare for.\u00a0 Call Lora W. with any questions.<\/p>\n

SUBSCRIPTION RENEWAL<\/strong>\u00a0 The Lutheran Witness; it\u2019s about your faith, your church, your world.\u00a0 The new subscription year begins in April.\u00a0 If you would like to receive or renew a subscription for 2011, please use the sign up sheet in the narthex.\u00a0 The annual cost is $15.00.\u00a0 You may put the amount in the offering plate marked Lutheran Witness, or mail a check to the church office.<\/p>\n

FLOWER CHART, 2011<\/strong>\u00a0 If you would like to place flowers at the altar for a special occasion or in memory of someone, please sign the flower chart found in the narthex.\u00a0 Simply write your name, phone number, and occasion with the pen provided.<\/p>\n

ANNUAL RUMMAGE SALE<\/strong>\u00a0 Go through your closets, attics, garages, storage buildings, etc. and pull items to donate to the Youth Group\u2019s Annual Rummage Sale to be held in February.<\/p>\n

PRAYER BEARS<\/strong> are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out (notebook in narthex) and given to anyone that needs God\u2019s love, comfort, and peace.<\/p>\n

TAPES OF THE SERVICE<\/strong>\u00a0 Audio tapes of the service are available after the 8:15 am service each Sunday.\u00a0 They are located in the glassed-door cabinet in the narthex.\u00a0 Tapes of the previous Sunday are also available.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

ASSISTIVE LISTENING<\/strong>\u00a0 If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers.\u00a0 They work like a transistor radio and you can control the volume.<\/p>\n

BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS<\/strong> are available in the narthex after each service.\u00a0 You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which will include medical information and a log of your blood pressure readings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
