CHRISTIAN EDUCATION<\/strong>\u00a0 A short meeting is scheduled for after the late service today.\u00a0 Everyone is invited (not just the teachers) to attend and share ideas or give some input concerning the Sunday School program here at Good Shepherd.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

CHURCH TRUSTEES\u2019 MEETING<\/strong>\u00a0 The church trustees will meet at 6:00 this evening before the Voters\u2019 Meeting.\u00a0<\/p>\n

VOTERS\u2019 ASSEMBLY<\/strong>\u00a0 The first voters\u2019 meeting for 2011 will be held this evening at 7:00.\u00a0 All members, 18 years of age and older are eligible to be a part of the voters\u2019 assembly.\u00a0<\/p>\n

PIE BAKING CONTEST<\/strong>\u00a0 Do you have what it takes to make a prize winning pie?\u00a0 Bring your entry to the voters\u2019 meeting fifteen minutes early to be judged, and at the conclusion of the meeting we can all enjoy sampling all the pie entries. Yummy!\u00a0 Babysitting will be provided for the meeting.<\/p>\n

2010 OFFERING STATEMENTS<\/strong> Please pick up your 2010 statements.\u00a0 They are on the table in the narthex.<\/p>\n

SUBSCRIPTION RENEWAL<\/strong>\u00a0 The Lutheran Witness; it\u2019s about your faith, your church, your world.\u00a0 The new subscription year begins in April.\u00a0 If you would like to receive or renew a subscription for 2011, please use the sign up sheet in the narthex.\u00a0 The annual cost is $15.00.\u00a0 You may put the amount in the offering plate marked Lutheran Witness, or mail a check to the church office.<\/p>\n

FLOWER CHART, 2011<\/strong>\u00a0 If you would like to place flowers at the altar for a special occasion or in memory of someone, please sign the flower chart found in the narthex.\u00a0 Simply write your name, phone number, and occasion with the pen provided.<\/p>\n

ANNUAL RUMMAGE SALE<\/strong>\u00a0 Start going through closets, attics, garages, storage buildings, etc. and pull items to donate to the Youth Group\u2019s Annual Rummage Sale to be held in February.<\/p>\n

PRAYER BEARS<\/strong> are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out (notebook in narthex) and given to anyone that needs God\u2019s love, comfort, and peace.<\/p>\n

TAPES OF THE SERVICE<\/strong>\u00a0 Audio tapes of the service are available after the 8:15 am service each Sunday.\u00a0 They are located in the glassed-door cabinet in the narthex.\u00a0 Tapes of the previous Sunday are also available.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

ASSISTIVE LISTENING<\/strong>\u00a0 If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers.\u00a0 They work like a transistor radio and you can control the volume.<\/p>\n

BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS<\/strong> are available in the narthex after each service.\u00a0 You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which will include medical information and a log of your blood pressure readings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
