THE OVER-50 GOOD SHEPHERDS<\/strong> will meet this Thursday evening at 6:00 pm.\u00a0 Bring finger foods and games to share, and join the fun!<\/p>\n

CHURCH COUNCIL MEETING\u00a0<\/strong> The church council will meet this evening at 7:00 pm.\u00a0 All elected officers and committee chairmen are members of the church council.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

VOTERS\u2019 ASSEMBLY<\/strong> will meet Sunday evening Jan. 23 at 7:00 pm.<\/p>\n

OFFERING ENVELOPES<\/strong>\u00a0 Your box of offering envelopes for 2011 are located on the table in the narthex.\u00a0 If you do not find a box with your name on it, and would like to use offering envelopes, please let the office know.\u00a0 If you prefer not to use them and see your name, simply write NO on the label.\u00a0 Please do not use your 2010 envelopes in 2011.\u00a0 This will help as the offerings are recorded.<\/p>\n

2010 OFFERING STATEMENTS<\/strong> are on the table in the narthex.<\/p>\n

POINSETTIAS<\/strong>\u00a0 Anyone who would like to take a poinsettia home is welcome to do so.<\/p>\n

FLOWER CHART, 2011\u00a0<\/strong> If you would like to place flowers at the altar for a special occasion or in memory of someone, please sign the flower chart found in the narthex.\u00a0 Simply write your name, phone number, and occasion with the pen provided.<\/p>\n

ANNUAL RUMMAGE SALE<\/strong>\u00a0 Start going through closets, attics, garages, storage buildings, etc. and pull items to donate to the Youth Group\u2019s Annual Rummage Sale to be held in February.<\/p>\n

PRAYER BEARS<\/strong> are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out (notebook in narthex) and given to anyone that needs God\u2019s love, comfort, and peace.\u00a0 We have reports that they are helping those who have received them.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

TAPES OF THE SERVICE<\/strong>\u00a0 Audio tapes of the service are available after the 8:15 am service each Sunday.\u00a0 They are located in the glassed-door cabinet in the narthex.\u00a0 Tapes of the previous Sunday are also available.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

ASSISTIVE LISTENING\u00a0<\/strong> If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers.\u00a0 They work like a transistor radio and you can control the volume.<\/p>\n

BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS<\/strong> are available in the narthex after each service.\u00a0 You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which will include medical information and a log of your blood pressure readings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
