NEW SUNDAY BIBLE STUDY<\/strong>\u00a0 The Sunday morning Bible class has started a new study on the Gospel of Matthew lead by Pastor.\u00a0 If you have been wanting to start coming to the Bible class, now is a good time to start.\u00a0 The class meets downstairs in the Fellowship Hall at 9:30 with coffee and goodies to eat.\u00a0 We hope you will join us.<\/p>\n

THE OVER-50 GOOD SHEPHERDS<\/strong> will meet this Thursday evening at 6:00 for food, fellowship, fun, and games.<\/p>\n

SMOKED PORK BY CAVEMAN CUISINE<\/strong>\u00a0 We all know how good their smoked pork is!\u00a0 Well, here\u2019s your chance to order a full smoked pork butt.\u00a0 Caveman Cuisine is taking orders to help raise money for the LWML\u2019s Women\u2019s Retreat in Sept.\u00a0 There is a sign up sheet in the narthex, and orders will be taken until Aug. 22.\u00a0 You will be able to pick up your order on Sept. 1.\u00a0 The cost is $25.00 each, which is 4-5 lbs of meat.\u00a0 UMM…UMM…GOOD!\u00a0 Thanks, Chad & Nicole.<\/p>\n

MUSIC MINISTRY PLANNING MEETING, NEXT SUNDAY, 6:30 PM<\/strong>\u00a0 Please read the insert in this morning\u2019s bulletin for a detailed explanation of what this meeting is all about and how it could impact our worship services, all in a very positive way.<\/p>\n

LWML<\/a> BAKE SALE<\/strong>\u00a0 Next Sunday is your chance to purchase some delicious goodies to take home and enjoy.\u00a0 The LWML is sponsoring a bake sale to help with expenses for the fall retreat.\u00a0 As always, your contributions and help are very much appreciated.\u00a0 Thank you.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

RECIPE FOR LIFE\u2014WOMEN\u2019S RETREAT, SEPT. 24-26<\/strong>\u00a0 There is still time to reserve a spot for the retreat.\u00a0 We do need to call in the room reservations and pay the deposit by Aug. 15.\u00a0 If you have signed up and have not yet paid your $20.00 deposit, please get it to Mary in the church office before the 15th.\u00a0 Thanks.\u00a0 Scholarship monies are available, and if you would like to apply, please contact the church office.<\/p>\n

PRAYER BEARS<\/strong> are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out and given to anyone that needs God\u2019s love, comfort, and peace.\u00a0<\/p>\n

TAPES AND CD\u2019S OF THE SERVICE<\/strong>\u00a0 Audio tapes and CDs of the service are available after the 8:15 am service each Sunday.\u00a0 They are located in the glassed-door cabinet in the narthex.\u00a0 The previous Sunday\u2019s are also available.<\/p>\n

BLOOD PRESSURE<\/strong>\u00a0 The opportunity to have your blood pressure taken and recorded after each service is available in the nurse\u2019s office located off the narthex.\u00a0 You will be given a card to carry with you to record your readings.<\/p>\n
