NEW SUNDAY BIBLE STUDY<\/strong> The Sunday morning Bible class is starting a new study on the Gospel of Matthew lead by Pastor. \u00a0If you have been wanting to start coming to the Bible class, now is a good time to start. \u00a0The class meets downstairs in the Fellowship Hall at 9:30 with coffee and goodies to eat. \u00a0We hope you will join us.<\/div>\n
LWML<\/a><\/strong> The August monthly meeting will be this Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm. \u00a0Pastor will have the devotion and topic and Lora W. will be the hostess. \u00a0All ladies of the congregation are invited.<\/div>\n
SMOKED PORK BY CAVEMAN CUISINE<\/strong> We all know how good their smoked pork is! \u00a0Well, here\u2019s your chance to order a full smoked pork butt. \u00a0Caveman Cuisine is taking orders to help raise money for the LWML\u2019s Women\u2019s Retreat in Sept. \u00a0There is a sign up sheet in the narthex, and orders will be taken until Aug. 22. \u00a0You will be able to pick up your order on Sept. 1. \u00a0The cost is $25.00 each, which is 4-5 lbs of meat. \u00a0UMM…UMM…GOOD! \u00a0Thanks, Chad & Nicole.<\/div>\n
RECIPE FOR LIFE\u2014WOMEN\u2019S RETREAT, SEPT. 24-26<\/strong> There is still time to reserve a spot for the retreat. \u00a0We do need to call in the room reservations and pay the deposit by Aug. 15. \u00a0If you have signed up and have not yet paid your $20.00 deposit, please get it to Mary in the church office before the 15th. \u00a0Thanks. \u00a0Scholarship monies are available, and if you would like to apply, please contact the church office.<\/div>\n
PRAYER BEARS<\/strong> are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out and given to anyone that needs God\u2019s love, comfort, and peace.<\/div>\n
TAPES AND CD\u2019S OF THE SERVICE<\/strong> Audio tapes and CDs of the service are available after the 8:15 am service each Sunday. \u00a0They are located in the glassed-door cabinet in the narthex. \u00a0The previous Sunday\u2019s are also available.<\/div>\n
\nBLOOD PRESSURE<\/strong> The opportunity to have your blood pressure taken and recorded after each service is available in the nurse\u2019s office located off the narthex. \u00a0You will be given a card to carry with you to record your readings.<\/div>\n
