\nKID KITS<\/strong>\u00a0 On the nursery wall in the narthex are a number of bags containing crayons, coloring books, picture books and other items of interest for young children.\u00a0 You are welcome to use them for your little ones.\u00a0 Please return the \u201ckid kit\u201d after the service.<\/p>\n

COUNCIL MEETING<\/strong>\u00a0 The Church Council meets this evening at 7:00.\u00a0<\/p>\n

THE ELEVATOR<\/strong>\u00a0 The elevator is up and running, or should we say, running up and down.\u00a0 The state inspector was here on Thursday and gave it the final OK.\u00a0 Please be sure to monitor your children in reference to use of the elevator.\u00a0 For their safety, children should not be allowed on the elevator without an adult with them.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

PRAYER BEARS<\/strong>\u00a0 Please help us with our Prayer Bear program by donating stuffed bears.\u00a0 They need not be new, but they need to be clean and in good condition.\u00a0 You can place them in the Share a Bear box in the narthex.\u00a0 You will be hearing more about this program in the next few weeks.<\/p>\n

GOLFERS<\/strong>\u00a0 If you are interested in playing in a Lutheran (Good Shepherd and Immanuel) golf league, please contact Mary at the church office (358-1325).\u00a0 It will be a mixed league with two person teams.\u00a0<\/p>\n

DESSERT & SERVANT AUCTION<\/strong>\u00a0 The Youth Group will be hosting a Dessert and Servant Auction on Sunday, April 25th at 5:00 pm.\u00a0 Please plan on making a scrumptious dessert to auction off to the highest bidder.\u00a0 Additionally, each Youth Group member will be auctioned off for 4 hours worth of work.\u00a0 The YG members are good at painting, cleaning, yard work, etc… Additionally, the event is being hosted by the award winning Keith Z.\u00a0 There is a church member who has graciously offered to match $ for $ up to $1000.00.\u00a0 Should be lots of fun, you won’t want to miss it.\u00a0 Hey! How Much Will Ya Give Me For It??<\/p>\n

VOTERS\u2019 MEETING<\/strong>\u00a0 The voters will meet Sunday, April 25th.\u00a0 Come participate in the Youth Dessert & Servant Auction and stay for the meeting which will begin at 7:00 pm.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

BLOOD PRESSURE<\/strong>\u00a0 The opportunity to have your blood pressure taken and recorded after each service is available in the nurse\u2019s office located off the narthex.\u00a0 You will be given a card to carry with you to record your readings.<\/p>\n

TAPES & CDS OF THE SERVICE<\/strong>\u00a0 Audio tapes and CDs of the service are available after the 8:15 a.m. service each Sunday.\u00a0 They are located in the glassed-door cabinet in the narthex.\u00a0 The previous Sunday\u2019s are also available.<\/p>\n

ASSISTIVE LISTENING<\/strong>\u00a0 If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers.\u00a0 They work like a transistor radio and you control the volume.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
