<b><i>Sara P.<\/i><\/b>, undergoing treatment for cancer.<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>LADIES NIGHT OUT\u00a0 <\/b>This year\u2019s <b><i>Ladies Night Out<\/i><\/b>, hosted by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lwml.org\" target=\"_blank\">LWML<\/a>, will be held tomorrow evening at 6:30 pm.\u00a0 It will be held at Diana E.\u2019s house in Neosho.\u00a0 There is a sign-up sheet on the round table in the narthex.\u00a0 All ladies are invited and encouraged to come!!!<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>WEDNESDAY MORNING SCRIPTURE STUDY <\/b>will not meet this Wednesday, October 12.<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>THE ANNUAL MEN\u2019S FISHING\/CAMPOUT <\/b>is being planned for Oct. 21 &#8211; 23 at Dale\u2019s Fish\u2019n Hole.\u00a0 Mark the date on your calendar. \u00a0Please add your name to the provided sign up sheet if you plan to attend.<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>MARK YOUR CALENDAR\u00a0 <\/b>The date for this year\u2019s Hobo Dinner has been set for Sunday, October 30, at 5:00 pm.\u00a0 Please check your October Newsletter for more information.<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>SOCKTOBER\u00a0 <\/b>The youth group would like to have a community service project during the month of October.\u00a0 LYF will set up collection bins at the church.\u00a0 We ask that members donate cold weather items such as socks, gloves, scarves, hats, and sweaters as well as toiletry items such as deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hairbrushes, and fluoride rinse.\u00a0 At the end of the month of October, the youth will deliver these donations to Children\u2019s Haven.<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>MEAL DELIVERY\u00a0 <\/b>GSLC\u2019s week to deliver meals for the Over-60 Center starts this Monday, October 10, and goes through Friday, October 14.\u00a0 If you can help with this worthwhile project, please contact Betty Ellefsen, 358-6418.<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>SUNDAY <\/b><b>SCHOOL OFFERING\u00a0 <\/b>Starting in September and going through the end of the year, Sunday School offerings, both the adult and the children\u2019s, are being designated to Immanuel Lutheran\u2019s Comfort Dog Team\u2019s fund for medical expenses.\u00a0 Our previous goal for Children\u2019s Haven was $1,000 and we achieved that goal.\u00a0 Let\u2019s see if we can exceed that amount this time!\u00a0 Thanks so much for your support of this project.<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>Organist Needed <\/b>\u00a0If you or someone you know can play the piano or organ and would be willing to play for church one Sunday per month, please let Pastor or Greg G. know.\u00a0 We are looking to add another player to the organist roster!<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>PRAYER BEARS <\/b>are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out (notebook in narthex by nursery) and given to anyone that needs God\u2019s love, comfort, and peace.<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS <\/b>are available in the nurse\u2019s office after the service.\u00a0 You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which will include medical information and a log of your blood pressure\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 readings.<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>ASSISTIVE LISTENING\u00a0 <\/b>If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers.\u00a0 They work like a\u00a0 transistor radio and you can control the volume.<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>NURSERY\/CRY ROOM\u00a0 <\/b>Should your child become distressed or distract others during the service, a furnished nursery\/cry room is located in the narthex for your use.\u00a0 Please ask one of the ushers if \u00a0you need directions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u2020\u00a0IN OUR PRAYERS \u00a0The D. family, at the death of Gary D.;\u00a0Earl K., undergoing hip replacement surgery Tuesday;
