\u2020\u00a0SUNDAY SCHOOL RALLY DAY\u00a0 <\/b>Today, to kick off our new Sunday School year, there will be a balloon launch and special activities during Sunday School.\u00a0 This evening, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, there will be a Rally Day Slumber Party with movies, games, and snacks.\u00a0 We won\u2019t actually sleep over (it\u2019s a school night) but feel free to come in your PJ\u2019s if you\u2019d like.<\/p>\n
\u2020\u00a0SUNDAY <\/b>SCHOOL OFFERING\u00a0 <\/b>Starting in September and going through the end of the year, Sunday School offerings, both the adult and the children\u2019s, are being designated to Immanuel Lutheran\u2019s Comfort Dog Team\u2019s fund for medical expenses.\u00a0 Our previous goal for Children\u2019s Haven was $1,000 and we achieved that goal.\u00a0 Lets see if we can exceed that amount this time!\u00a0 Thanks so much for your support of this project.<\/p>\n
\u2020\u00a0Jr. Confirmation instruction <\/b>will start in September.\u00a0 Jr. Confirmands and their parents are asked to attend an organizational meeting on Sunday, September 11, in the conference room. \u00a0Luther\u2019s Small Catechism with\u00a0 Explanation will be provided to each new Confirmand, but each student will need to bring their own Bible to class.<\/p>\n
\u2020\u00a0SHEPHERD\u2019S OWN\u00a0 <\/b>After a brief summer hiatus, The Shepherd’s Own\u00a0\u00a0 will resume weekly rehearsals beginning on Wednesday, September 14. Rehearsals are held 6:30-7:30 pm. If you enjoy singing praises to the Lord in four-part harmony, and fellowship with a fun group of sinner-saints, now would be a good time to join the group – no audition required!<\/p>\n
