\u2020\u00a0MEAL DELIVERY\u00a0 <\/b>Thank you to all those who helped with the Over 60 Center meal delivery this past week.\u00a0 What a great way to help support our local community!\u00a0 The Area Agency on Aging will be hosting a volunteer appreciation night for all those who helped.\u00a0 The event will take place on Thursday, Sept. 29, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Carthage Senior Center.\u00a0 There will be pizza and prizes.\u00a0 Please RSVP no later than Sept. 10 to \u00a0(417)358-4741.<\/p>\n
\u2020\u00a0SUNDAY SCHOOL RALLY DAY <\/b>is next Sunday, August 28. There will be a balloon launch and special activities during Sunday School.\u00a0 That evening, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, there will be a Rally Day Slumber Party with\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 movies, games, and snacks.\u00a0 We won\u2019t actually sleep over (it\u2019s a school night) but feel free to come in your PJ\u2019s if you\u2019d like.<\/p>\n
\u2020\u00a0SHEPHERD\u2019S OWN\u00a0 <\/b>After a brief summer hiatus, The Shepherd’s Own\u00a0\u00a0 will resume weekly rehearsals beginning on Wednesday, September 14. Rehearsals are held 6:30-7:30 pm. If you enjoy singing praises to the Lord in four-part harmony, and fellowship with a fun group of sinner-saints, now would be a good time to join the group – no audition required!<\/p>\n

\u2020\u00a0BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS <\/b>are available in the nurse\u2019s office after the\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 service.\u00a0 You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which will include medical information and a log of your blood pressure\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 readings.<\/p>\n
