\u2020\u00a0SPECIAL VOTERS\u2019 MEETING JULY 17\u00a0 <\/b>A special Voters meeting will take place following the service on July 17th<\/sup> to vote on an extension of Pastor Mackie\u2019s Intentional Interim Pastor contract.<\/p>\n \u2020\u00a0VBS HELP NEEDED\u00a0 <\/b>Nicole B. will be getting most of this year\u2019s VBS set from a church in Joplin.\u00a0 She is in need of someone who has an\u00a0 enclosed trailer to go with her to transport all of the background pieces to Good Shepherd.\u00a0 If you would be able to help with this please contact Nicole, it would be greatly appreciated.<\/p>\n \u2020\u00a0TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALL GAME\u00a0 <\/b>The Shepherd\u2019s Own will sing the National Anthem at the Northwest Arkansas Naturals game on Friday, July 15.\u00a0 The game starts at 7:05 pm and the opponent is the Springfield Cardinals.\u00a0 Tickets are $7.00 each.\u00a0 They will have post-game fireworks. If you are interested in going please contact Jim G.<\/p>\n \u2020\u00a0SUMMER WORSHIP\u00a0 <\/b>For the summer months, we will have one worship service on Sunday and it will begin at 9:00 am.\u00a0 Sunday School and Bible class will be at 10:30 am.<\/p>\n \u2020\u00a0LYF FIREWORKS STAND\u00a0 <\/b>Good Shepherd\u2019s Youth Group is running a fireworks stand at 1200 Briarbrook, across from Casey\u2019s, in Carl Junction, as a fundraiser for the 2016 National Youth Gathering.\u00a0 It is open today and tomorrow.\u00a0 There are flyers with coupons on the information table in the narthex.\u00a0 If you haven\u2019t had a chance to buy your fireworks, please come and support the LYF\u2019s stand!<\/p>\n \u2020\u00a0SUNDAY SCHOOL OFFERINGS\u00a0 <\/b>For the first couple of quarters in 2016, both the adult and the children\u2019s Sunday School offerings will be going to Children\u2019s Haven in Joplin.\u00a0 If you have been monitoring our progress by watching our bulletin board downstairs you will have noticed that we are almost to our $1,000 goal.\u00a0 Just one more gingerbread kid to go!
