\u2020 VOTERS’ MEETING TO BE HELD JUNE 5<\/strong>\u00a0 After the 9:00 am Sunday Service on June 5, a Voters’ Meeting has been scheduled to vote regarding certain amendments to the Church Constitution and to review and vote on the Ministry Description proposed by the Call Committee. Copies of the amendments to the Church Constitution are available a the information desk.<\/p>\n \u2020\u00a0OLD FASHIONED POTLUCK\u00a0 <\/b>The LWML<\/a> is hosting a birthday potluck for Pastor Mackie <\/i><\/b>and Earl Kirn <\/i><\/b><\/i>today, following the late service, in the fellowship hall.\u00a0They both have birthdays tomorrow, May 23rd<\/sup>! Birthday cake and ice cream will be provided. Hope you can come and help us celebrate with them.<\/p>\n \u2020\u00a0JR CONFIRMATION CLASS \u00a0<\/b>There will not be Jr Confirmation Class today.<\/p>\n \u2020\u00a0SUMMER WORSHIP\u00a0 <\/b>Starting June 5, for the summer months, we will have one worship service on Sunday and it will begin at 9:00 am.\u00a0\u00a0 Sunday School and Bible class will be at 10:30 am.<\/p>\n \u2020\u00a0WORK DAY \u00a0<\/b>A church work day has been scheduled for Saturday, June 4, from 9:00 am – 11:00 am. The trustees will be in need of as much help as possible with mostly trimming and yard work and a few inside tasks. Please consider coming out for these two hours to help, many hands make the load light!<\/p>\n \u2020 THANK YOU<\/strong>\u00a0<\/b>Galen Davis, with Gideons International, wanted to extend a thank you to our congregation for having him here to speak to us and also for our generous contribution to their ministry. He received a total of $555.00 in donations last Sunday which is the equivalent of 111 bibles!<\/p>\n \u2020 SUMMER BRUNCH<\/strong>\u00a0<\/b>The LWML will host the annual Summer Brunch for all ladies of the congregation on Saturday, June 11, at 10:00 am. It will be held at the Rollins Creek Club House, 1900 Blue Bird Way, in Carthage. Each lady is asked to bring a brunch item to share.
