Certain questions on the survey may ask for 3, 4 or possibly 5 answers.<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>GAME GATHERING\u00a0 <\/b>Thanks to everyone who supported The Lutheran Youth Fellowship at their <b><i>Game Gathering<\/i><\/b> last Sunday.\u00a0 The youth had a wonderful time hosting this event for the congregation and appreciated the large turn out and everyone\u2019s generous donations!<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>MORNING BIBLE CLASSES\u00a0 <\/b>Both Tuesday and Wednesday morning Bible Classes will resume their normal schedule this week.<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>VBS PLANNING MEETING\u00a0 <\/b>Today, after the late service, there will be a VBS\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 planning meeting.\u00a0 Anyone interested is welcome and encouraged to attend.<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>PASTOR SUBMISSIONS\u00a0 <\/b>If you\u2019d like to submit a pastoral candidate to the Call Committee, submit a written request to either Dave Wacker or Rob Sager by\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 May 5. The submission should include the pastor\u2019s name, current position, your name (in case we need to follow up with you) and how you know the pastor.<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>ATTENTION ALL GRADUATES\u00a0 <\/b>If you are graduating from high school, college, tech school, etc. we want to hear about it.\u00a0 Please get a picture with a bio to the church office by April 22.\u00a0 We want to publish your accomplishments and future plans in the May issue of the Shepherd\u2019s Staff.\u00a0 Parents, we may need your help with this, we don\u2019t want to leave anyone out, but if we don\u2019t have the information we can\u2019t print it.\u00a0 Thanks.<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lwml.org\" target=\"_blank\">LWML<\/a> SPRING RALLY\u00a0 <\/b>The LWML Spring Rally will be held on Sunday, April 24, at St. Andrew\u2019s Church in Stockton.\u00a0 It is scheduled to begin at 3:00 pm with\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 registration starting at 2:30 pm.\u00a0 The program will be Jason G. with the <i>Comfort<\/i> <i>Dogs<\/i>.\u00a0 All ladies (and men) are invited to attend these rallies.\u00a0 They are a wonderful afternoon of spiritual growth and spending time with fellow Lutherans.<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>70 &amp; OVER DINNER\u00a0 <\/b>All members (and their spouses) that are 70 years of age\u00a0 and over are invited to attend this annual dinner prepared and served especially for them by our Lutheran Youth Fellowship Group on Sunday, May 1, at 5:00 pm.\u00a0 This special event is one way our youth wish to show their appreciation for these seasoned congregational members.\u00a0 It is always a lot of fun for both the younger members and the older members.\u00a0 Please, RSVP to the church office, 358-1325, so they can plan to have plenty of food.\u00a0 Need a ride or the meal delivered to your home?\u00a0 That can be\u00a0 provided ~ just relay that to any member of the Youth Group or let the church office know.<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>SUNDAY SCHOOL OFFERINGS\u00a0 <\/b>For the first couple of quarters in 2016, both the adult and the children\u2019s Sunday School offerings will be going to Children\u2019s Haven in Joplin.\u00a0 If you would like to monitor our progress, keep an eye on our bulletin board downstairs that will track our Sunday School offerings!<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>VOTERS\u2019 MEETING\u00a0 <\/b>The regular Voters\u2019 Meeting will be held next Sunday, April 24, at 7:00 pm in the fellowship hall.\u00a0 Along with our regular business we will also be asked to approve a resolution to GSLC\u2019s Constitution.\u00a0 The insert in the bulletin today addresses this resolution.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u2020\u00a0IN OUR PRAYERS \u00a0Stella Q., Sue V., recovering from surgery at St. Luke\u2019s;
