Be sure and utilize these services as part of your\u00a0\u00a0 Lenten observance.<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>SCRIPTURE STUDY\u00a0 <\/b>During Lent the Scripture Study Group is meeting a little earlier, <i>9:30 am<\/i>, due to our 11:00 am Lent service.\u00a0 If you are planning on attending the morning Lent service, you could come a little early and join them!<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>VALENTINE\u2019S DAY LADIES\u2019 NIGHT OUT\u00a0 <\/b>A big thank you to Brenda K., Judy G. and all those involved in putting together the Ladies\u2019 Night Out dinner.<b>\u00a0 <\/b>The food was wonderful and it was a fun evening of fellowship and music.<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>EASTER LILIES\u00a0 <\/b>If you would like to purchase one or more lilies to help adorn our sanctuary on Easter, please use the sign up sheet in the narthex.\u00a0 The cost is $8.00 each.\u00a0 Please pay Diana Endicott.<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>THANK YOU <\/b>to all those who participated in our \u201cSouper Bowl\u201d canned good drive for Crosslines.\u00a0 Our church donated a total of 647 items.\u00a0 Thank you for all your help in supporting this worthy cause!<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>LUTHERAN WORLD RELIEF\u00a0 <\/b>This Lent season, our congregation is taking part in Lutheran World Relief\u2019s Baskets of Promise campaign.\u00a0 Each week in Lent, we will collect items to form LWR Personal Care Kits that help impoverished people stay healthy in life\u2019s most challenging situations.\u00a0 This Sunday we are collecting bath towels (light weight, preferably dark color, and no larger than 52\u201d x 27\u201d).\u00a0 Next week we will be collecting toothbrushes (adult size, in the original packaging).\u00a0 Please bring your donations to worship next Sunday.\u00a0 If you have any questions please contact Lora Wacker or Brenda Kirn.\u00a0 Thanks for your help with this project!<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>DISASTER ASSISSTANCE\u00a0 <\/b>There is information posted on the bulletin board in the information area about receiving disaster assistance from FEMA if you were affected by the flooding in December.<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>FLOWER CHART\u00a0 <\/b>If you would like to place flowers at the altar for a special occasion or in memory of someone, please sign the flower chart hanging on the wall next to the water fountain in the hallway.\u00a0 Simply write your name, phone number, and occasion with the pen provided.<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>NURSERY\/CRY ROOM <\/b>\u00a0Should your child become distressed or distract others \u00a0during the service, a furnished nursery\/cry room is located in the narthex for your use.\u00a0 Please ask one of the ushers if you need directions.<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>PRAYER BEARS <\/b>are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out (notebook in narthex by nursery) and given to anyone that needs God\u2019s love, comfort, and peace.<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>ASSISTIVE LISTENING\u00a0 <\/b>If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers.\u00a0 They work like a\u00a0 transistor radio and you can control the volume.<\/p>\n<p>\u2020\u00a0<b>BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS <\/b>are available in the nurse\u2019s office after the service.\u00a0 You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which will include medical information and a log of your blood pressure readings.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u2020\u00a0IN OUR PRAYERS \u00a0Sue V., recovering from surgery at St. Luke\u2019s;
