\u2020\u00a0HOBO DINNER\u00a0 <\/b>Sunday, November 1 at 5:30 pm, Good Shepherd will be having the annual Hobo Dinner.\u00a0 There is a sign-up sheet on the round\u00a0\u00a0 table in the narthex both to let us know if you plan on attending and also\u00a0\u00a0 if you\u2019d like to help by donating a food item.\u00a0 Of course, everyone is \u00a0encouraged to bring stew, meat, or vegetables to add to the large pot of stew that will be cooking over the fire that evening.\u00a0 There will be carnival type games and treats for the children and a hay ride.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n
\u2020\u00a0HELP NEEDED AT CROSSLINES\u00a0 <\/b>Good Shepherd has a group of people who volunteer their time at Crosslines the third Friday of every month.\u00a0 They are in need of at least one more person to help them during this time.\u00a0 If you would be interested in helping, please contact Nan B. or Janet C.<\/p>\n
\u2020\u00a0LYF FELLOWSHIP\/FUNDRAISING EVENT\u00a0 <\/b>The Lutheran Youth Fellowship will be hosting a Game Gathering<\/i><\/b> event on Sunday, November 8 at 3:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall.\u00a0 This will be a fun afternoon of Bingo and prizes put on by the members of our LYF.\u00a0 Everyone is encouraged to come, bring a friend and enjoy some fun while supporting our youth for the National Gathering in 2016!\u00a0 There will be some concession type food available\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 during the time and there will be door prizes and Bingo prizes including gift cards to various restaurants and other locations.\u00a0 (The youth think the best one is the $15 Starbucks card.)\u00a0 Hope to see everyone here!<\/p>\n

\u2020\u00a0ASSISTIVE LISTENING\u00a0 <\/b>If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers.\u00a0 They work like a transistor radio and you can control the volume.<\/p>\n
\u2020\u00a0BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS <\/b>are available in the nurse\u2019s office after the\u00a0 service.\u00a0 You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which will include medical information and a log of your blood pressure readings.<\/p>\n
