\u2020\u00a0BACK TO TWO SERVICES\u00a0 <\/b>Today we are back to our regular two services.\u00a0 Worship services are at 8:15 and 10:45 am with Sunday School and Adult Bible Class at 9:30 am.\u00a0 Holy Communion will alternate between the two services starting with the 10:45 service today.<\/p>\n
\u2020\u00a0SUNDAY SCHOOL RALLY DAY<\/b>\u00a0 Thanks to all those who helped with the Noah\u2019s Ark Rally Day last Sunday.\u00a0 The Sunday school students had a wonderful time enjoying the various water activities, especially the dunking booth and the large slip and slide!\u00a0 We tried to make sure to send them home clean both inside and out!<\/p>\n
\u2020\u00a0THE SHEPHERD\u2019S OWN MEN\u2019S ENSEMBLE <\/b>will resume weekly practices\u00a0 on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 – 6:30 pm beginning next week on September 16.<\/p>\n
\u2020\u00a0JR CONFIRMATION<\/b> instruction will start in September.\u00a0 Jr. Confirmands and their parents are asked to attend an organizational meeting next Sunday, September 13, at 1:00 pm in the conference room.\u00a0 Luther\u2019s\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Small Catechism with Explanation will be provided to each new Confirmand, but each student will need to bring their own Bible to class.<\/p>\n
\u2020\u00a0GSLC FALL HOG ROAST AND MUSIC FESTIVAL<\/b> has been scheduled for\u00a0 Sunday, September 27, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.\u00a0 Please save the date on\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 your calendar.\u00a0 There is a sign up sheet on the round table in the narthex of specific items that are needed.\u00a0 Please stop and take a look at the list and see if you can help out.<\/p>\n
\u2020\u00a0NEW PROJECT\u00a0 <\/b>Karen L. and Judy G. have started a new project on behalf of Good Shepherd.\u00a0 They are sewing fabric hearts for Freeman NICU.\u00a0 The heart is worn against the mother\u2019s skin so that the fabric might absorb the scent of the mother.\u00a0 The heart is then placed with the baby in the isolette so the mother is always with her child.\u00a0 If anyone has flannel in baby prints or in plain pastel colors that they are willing to share, please give it to Karen or Judy.<\/p>\n
\u2020\u00a0LYF REMINDER\u00a0 <\/b>Youth that will be attending the 2016 National Youth Gathering need to have their completed registration form and deposit turned in by today.<\/p>\n
\u2020\u00a0TUESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY <\/b>\u00a0Our Thursday Morning Bible Study has become Tuesday Morning Bible Study.\u00a0 The group is now meeting every Tuesday morning from 9:30 – 10:30 am.<\/p>\n
\u2020\u00a0STEPHEN MINISTRY TRAINING <\/b>begins September 21 and will meet on Mondays from 6:00 – 8:30 pm for 50 hours of instruction.\u00a0 You can still get involved in this marvelous opportunity.\u00a0 Please see Earl K., Janet C., or Curt S.<\/p>\n
