BACK TO TWO SERVICES<\/strong>\u00a0 Starting Sunday, September 6, we will return to our regular two services.\u00a0 Worship services will be at 8:15 and 10:45 am with Sunday School and Adult Bible Class at 9:30 am.<\/p>\n

TUESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY<\/strong>\u00a0 Our Thursday Morning Bible Study has become Tuesday Morning Bible Study.\u00a0 The group is now meeting every Tuesday morning from 9:30 – 10:30 am.<\/p>\n

SUNDAY SCHOOL RALLY DAY<\/strong> is happening next Sunday.\u00a0 There will be a kick-off event and special activities during Sunday School.\u00a0 Also, the\u00a0children will be singing with the Shepherd\u2019s Strings during the service.\u00a0 The theme for Rally Day is Noah\u2019s Ark so join us for some fun water games and food at the carnival which will happen right after the Sunday School hour, around 11:30 am.\u00a0 The kids may want to have clothes for getting wet and a towel, as many of the activities involve fun with water!\u00a0 You will also get the chance to get Noah wet in the dunk tank.\u00a0 Adults may want to bring bag chairs for hanging around and watching the excitement.\u00a0 Please join us for a fun start to our fall Sunday School session!\u00a0<\/p>\n

COOKIE SIGN UP SHEET<\/strong>\u00a0 Sunday School is asking the congregation to help with Noah\u2019s Ark themed cookies for the Rally Day Carnival next Sunday.\u00a0 There is a sign up sheet on the round table in the narthex.\u00a0 Your help with this would be greatly appreciated!<\/p>\n

MEAL DELIVERY<\/strong>\u00a0 Thanks to everyone who helped deliver meals last week!\u00a0 It is wonderful to have members of our congregation out helping\u00a0others in our community!<\/p>\n

STEPHEN MINISTRY CLASSES<\/strong> will be starting in September.\u00a0 Anyone\u00a0planning to participate in these classes is invited to a schedule planning meeting today during the Sunday School hour.<\/p>\n

GSLC FALL HOG ROAST AND MUSIC FESTIVAL<\/strong> has been scheduled for\u00a0 Sunday, September 27, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.\u00a0 Please save the date on\u00a0your calendar.\u00a0 There is a sign up sheet on the round table in the narthex of specific items that are needed.\u00a0 Please stop and take a look at the list and see if you can help out.<\/p>\n

LYF REMINDER<\/strong>\u00a0 Youth that will be attending the 2016 National Youth Gathering need to have their completed registration form and deposit turned in by September 6.<\/p>\n

ASSISTIVE LISTENING<\/strong>\u00a0 If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers.\u00a0 They work like a transistor radio and you can control the volume.<\/p>\n

BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS<\/strong> are available in the nurse\u2019s office after the\u00a0 service.\u00a0 You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which will include medical information and a log of your blood pressure readings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
