\u2020\u00a0BACK TO TWO SERVICES\u00a0 <\/b>Last week we returned to our regular two services.\u00a0 Worship services are at 8:15 and 10:45 am with Sunday School and Adult Bible Class at 9:30 am.\u00a0 Holy Communion will be alternated between the two services with Holy Communion in the 8:15 service today.<\/p>\n
\u2020\u00a0SUNDAY SCHOOL RALLY DAY <\/b>\u00a0Thanks to all those who helped make this year\u2019s Sunday School Rally Day a big success!\u00a0 The children had a wonderful time celebrating the beginning of a new\u00a0 Sunday School term.<\/p>\n
\u2020\u00a0ADULT BIBLE CLASS\u00a0 <\/b>Pastor started a new session last Sunday in Adult Bible Class covering Galatians.<\/p>\n
\u2020\u00a0LUTHERAN YOUTH FELLOWSHIP <\/b>will meet next Sunday, September 21, at 6:00 pm here at the church for an ice cream \u201cSunday\u201d movie night.<\/p>\n
\u2020\u00a0LWML MITE BOX\u00a0 <\/b>If you are looking for a place to put your spare change, check out the new LWML Mite box, purchased in memory of Lois M., on the round table in the narthex.\u00a0 The LWML collects this money and uses it to support world-wide mission projects.\u00a0 It is amazing what these Mites <\/b>can do.<\/p>\n

\u2020\u00a0LWML<\/a> \u201cWOMEN TO WOMEN\u201d NIGHT\u00a0 <\/b>ALL ladies of the congregation are invited to the annual \u201cWomen to Women\u201d night of fellowship on Thursday, October 7, at 6:00 pm at El Charro in\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Carthage.\u00a0 The theme this year is Restore-Renew-Refurbish.\u00a0 Ladies are encouraged to bring an item that they have restored, renewed, or refurbished.\u00a0 RSVP to Mary P. or Judy G.<\/p>\n \u2020\u00a0PARENTS, GOOD SHEPHERD NEEDS YOUR CHILDREN!\u00a0 <\/b>Our Sunday School children have been working on three songs to sing at the GSLC Community Hog Roast, Sunday evening, Sept. 28, 5:30 – 7:30 pm.\u00a0 Practices (important) are during the opening of\u00a0\u00a0 Sunday School, at 9:30 am, for the rest of September.\u00a0 As we reach out to our local community sharing Christ\u2019s Good News, we want the children to \u201cdo us proud\u201d, do our church proud, and most of all, do our God proud.<\/p>\n \u2020\u00a0JR CONFIRMATION <\/b>instruction started Wednesday, Sept. 10.\u00a0 The class runs from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.\u00a0 Luther\u2019s Small Catechism with Explanation and a notebook are provided, but each student needs to bring their own Bible.<\/p>\n \u2020\u00a0MIDWEEK CLASS <\/b>are once again being offered along with Jr Confirmation class.\u00a0 The classes are on Wednesday from 6:30 – 7:30 pm.
