\u2020\u00a0VBS 2014\u00a0 <\/b>This year\u2019s VBS theme is,Weird Animals, Where Jesus\u2019 Love is One-of-a-Kind<\/i><\/b>.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/i><\/b>It will start Sunday, July 27, and go through Thursday, July 31, 6:00-8:00 pm, every evening.\u00a0 There will be a light dinner offered each evening at 5:30. \u00a0<\/b>Registration forms are on the round table.\u00a0 If your child plans to attend, please fill one out and place it in the basket provided.\u00a0 You can also pick up a CD with this year\u2019s music on it.\u00a0 Please take only one per family.<\/p>\n
\u2020\u00a0VBS WORK DAY <\/b>\u00a0There will be a work day this Saturday, July 26, starting at 9:00 am for anyone who wants to come and help finish up the decorations and props to make this year\u2019s VBS really come to life.\u00a0 There will also be a setup day Sunday, July 27, after Sunday School & Adult Bible Class.<\/p>\n
\u2020\u00a0IT\u2019S COMING!\u00a0 <\/b>GSLC is going whole hog!\u00a0 This fall, at a date yet to be announced, GSLC will host a community outreach event featuring a hog roast and a showcase of our musical talent.\u00a0 To express your interest, talk with Rob Sager or Earl Kirn.<\/p>\n
\u2020\u00a0LUTHERAN NIGHT\u00a0 <\/b>Friday, August 1, is the date for this year\u2019s Lutheran Night with the Springfield Baseball Cardinals.\u00a0 Game time is 7:10 pm.\u00a0 Tickets will be $7.00 each with $1.00 going to the Lutheran Children & Family Services.\u00a0 There is a sign-up sheet on the round table in the narthex and Jim Garoutte will be collecting the money.<\/p>\n
