\u2020\u00a0IN OUR PRAYERS<\/strong>\u00a0 Savanna J., undergoing tests; Fern H., at Webb City Health and Rehab; Marsha B., in Mercy Hospital, Joplin; Mike D., Tim S., Lois H. (Pastor and Mary\u2019s sister),\u00a0Andrea H. (Joann W.\u2019s mother), and Paula B., undergoing treatment for cancer.<\/p>\n

\u2020\u00a0MUSIC MEETING<\/strong>\u00a0 There will be a music meeting today after late service.<\/p>\n

\u2020\u00a0LUTHERAN YOUTH FELLOWSHIP (LYF)<\/strong> will be meeting at the church this evening at 6:00 pm.<\/p>\n

\u2020\u00a0PRAYER PARTNERS KICK-OFF<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Today at 10:15 am in the conference room there will be a get together to kick-off our Prayer Partners.\u00a0 If you are a part of this group, you are to pray for each other daily.\u00a0 If you want to call each other or send encouraging notes you may, but it is not a must to be in this program.\u00a0 The main purpose is for prayers.\u00a0 If you\u2019d like to be a part of this group, come and join us this morning!<\/p>\n

\u2020\u00a0CHURCH COUNCIL<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Due to all the activities around Easter, the Church Council will not meet on the normal second Sunday in April.\u00a0 Instead the meeting has been scheduled for Monday, April 21, at 7:00 pm.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2020\u00a0MIDWEEK LENTEN SERVICES<\/strong>\u00a0 We are having midweek Lenten services on Wednesdays at 11:00 am & 7:00 pm during the Lenten season.\u00a0 Portions of the Passion story of Jesus will be read during each service.<\/p>\n

\u2020\u00a0WEDNESDAY TIME CHANGES FOR LENT<\/strong>\u00a0 Band practice will remain at 5:30 pm.\u00a0 Jr. Confirmation and all other activities will begin at 6:00 pm in order to allow everyone to attend the Midweek Lenten services.<\/p>\n

\u2020\u00a0MIDWEEK CLASSES<\/strong>\u00a0 We will not be having Midweek Classes through the Lenten season.<\/p>\n

\u2020\u00a0EASTER EGG HUNT<\/strong>\u00a0 The LYF will be filling the plastic eggs for the annual Sunday School Easter Egg hunt.\u00a0 They are asking the congregation for donations of bags of individually wrapped candy, small prizes, or rolls of nickels\/dimes.\u00a0 Your donations can be placed in the container provided in the youth room or they can be dropped off in the church office.\u00a0 Please bring your donations by next Sunday.\u00a0 Thanks for your help with this project!<\/p>\n

\u2020\u00a0EASTER LILIES<\/strong>\u00a0 If you would like to purchase one or more lilies to help adorn our sanctuary on Easter, please use the sign up sheet in the narthex.\u00a0 The cost is $8.00 each.\u00a0 Please pay Diana Endicott.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2020\u00a0EASTER BREAKFAST SIGN UP<\/strong>\u00a0 The Easter breakfast sign up sheet is in the narthex on the round table.\u00a0 Please take a moment to check it over and then put your name by what you are willing to bring.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2020\u00a0THE LWML SPRING RALLY<\/strong> will be held Sunday, May 4, in Aurora.\u00a0 A basket will be in the Narthex to collect baby items, which will then be donated to their ingathering.<\/p>\n

\u2020\u00a0MEXICO TRIP<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Gretchen and Ethan N. are going on the Refuge Ranch Mexico mission trip and are trying to raise some money.\u00a0 They would be willing to do odd jobs (babysitting, mowing, spring cleaning, etc.) for anyone interested in helping out.\u00a0 If you would like to use their services, contact Gretchen.<\/p>\n

FOOD DRIVE\u00a0<\/strong> Bright Futures Carthage, an organization that sends food snack packs home from school on the weekends with children in need, is running low on food supplies.\u00a0 Nicole B. helps with this organization and would like to have a food drive here at Good Shepherd through April 20.\u00a0 There is a list of items needed hanging on the Christian Education bulletin<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
