† IN OUR PRAYERS  Peggy S., recovering from knee replacement surgery; Cindy E., continuing her recovery at home; Jim B., undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer; Joe L., recovering from knee surgery; Stephen Ministry and their care receivers.

† THANK YOU to the Fellowship Committee and those that helped put together a fun and successful evening last Sunday for the HOBO Dinner/Trunk & Treat.

† TREASURER’S NOTE  For the 10 months ended October, our expenses totaled $182,377 and income totaled $183,343 leaving us with a surplus of $966.  This does not include however, an estimated insurance premium of $8,500 due early December.

† 2024 OFFICERS  At last Sunday’s regular quarterly Voters’ Meeting the officers for the 2024 church year were elected.  These are the elected officers  for 2024:

† HOBO DINNER/TRUNK & TREAT  The Fellowship Committee is hosting a Trunk & Treat in conjunction with the Hobo Dinner tonight starting at 6:00 pm.  Please bring some soup to contribute and come and join us. If you have questions please contact Donya M.

† LWML FALL RALLY will be held next Saturday, Nov. 4, at Zion Lutheran Church  in Rockville, starting at 10:00 am. 

† MEALS ON WHEELS  Thank you to everyone who helped with Meals on Wheels last week. What a great way to support our local community.

† QUARTERLY VOTERS’ MEETING  The regular quarterly Voters’ Meeting will be held today right after the service.  Two important items of business during this meeting will be the election of officers and the approval of the budget for the 2024 church year.  Here is the slate of officers for 2024:
